Travel on the 1890's Manx Electric Railway along the beautiful eastern coast of the Island to Laxey. Passengers can then transfer onto the local shuttle bus which will take them up through the valley to the Great Laxey Wheel, the largest working water wheel in the world. Or travel onward to its sister wheel, the Lady Evelyn, which stands on the Washing Floors lower in the valley, before visiting the Laxey Woolen Mills or the sheltered Laxey promenade. The shuttle bus journey takes 10 minutes in total and gives passengers the flexibility to enjoy some free time before returning to Douglas on the Manx Electric Railway, where they will be met and transferred back to the vessel.
