Isle of Man's Political History

About

Visit the Island's key political sites past and present. Firstly visit the Old House of Keys preserved in its 19th century condition, located in Castletown. Travel on to Tynwald Hill in St John's which is the site of the oldest continuous parliament in the world and is where the Island's parliament still meets annually each July on the Island's national day. Finally, take a tour of the modern Tynwald parliament buildings in Douglas and discover more about the Island's rich cultural and political history; if you are lucky, you can even join the public gallery to witness a sitting of the Manx government.
