Another favourite way to travel is to take a cruise. The enchanted kingdom of Mann, a mystical Island located at the geographical centre of the British Isles in the middle of the Irish sea, also provides the ideal mid-point cruise destination port. The Isle of Man has much to offer as a cruise destination with quay-side mooring for vessels up to 120 metres in the main harbour located at Douglas the Islands capital. Larger vessels are catered for offshore in the sheltered Douglas bay anchorage which offers superb views of the wide sweep of Douglas promenade and background hills.
