If you fancy journeying back in time then hop on to one of the Island’s heritage railways. You can head north on the Manx Electric Railway and south on the Steam Railway. Don’t forget to try the Douglas Horse Trams on Douglas Promenade and the Snaefell Mountain Railway which is the only mountain railway in the British Isles.

There are many quirky things to see and do on the Isle of Man whether that is unusual animal encounters or staying somewhere a bit different. Venture to the north of the Island where you may spot wild wallabies that roam the wetlands. On the Isle of Man it’s also possible to stay on your own Island over at the Calf of Mann which is abundant in wildlife.

If you love the great outdoors then you’ll love what the Isle of Man has to offer, from mountain bike trails, long distance footpaths and climbing adventure parks – you’ll find something for all abilities. You can also enjoy the local wildlife in its natural habitat of the Irish Sea and Manx highlands – keep your eyes out for seals, dolphins and puffins.
