Taste Isle of Man 2011/12

Taste Isle of Man is a quality initiative supported by Isle of Man Tourism. We are committed to the continuous quality improvement of our visitors' experiences and are also aware of the importance of gastronomy to regional and national identity. Our members are inspected annually by independent assessors who assess every aspect of the customer experience including public areas, cleanliness, restaurant and bar, hospitality, service and efficiency and food quality.

The Taste Isle of Man scheme is designed to help you make an informed choice about where to eat. These pages contain all the information you need when deciding on your preferred venue.

The Accolades

Each of the venues listed on these pages have been awarded either a ‘Quality Assured’ accolade for scores between 60% - 80% or ‘Highest Quality Assured’ accolade for scores 80% and over. In addition, establishments are assessed on the use and promotion of local produce, and those achieving a quality score of over 60% in this respect are awarded the ‘Harvest Isle of Man’ accolade.
