The Douglas cocktail bar is one of just 37 bars around the world to receive recognition from the prestigious new international ranking, dubbed “the Michelin guide for bars”
Kiki Lounge, the tropical cocktail bar on Douglas’ North Quay, has been awarded 1 Pin in the first ever Pinnacle Guide, from the esteemed founders of London Cocktail Week. One of just 37 bars to have been recognised, out of hundreds of applications from around the world, Kiki Lounge stands alongside bars in Australia, Singapore, New York and across the UK that are leading cocktail culture in their communities.
To be awarded a Pin, Kiki Lounge was anonymously and meticulously evaluated for its excellence on both sides of the bar - from drinks and service to philanthropy, sustainability and diversity - by industry experts, renowned mixologists, and discerning bar enthusiasts who visited during the judging period.
Created during the pandemic as a tropical escape from nearly two years of closed borders, Kiki Lounge is a tropical bar on a not-so-tropical island. Inspired by the legacy of pioneering American tiki bars like Trader Vic’s and Don the Beachcomber, but with a decidedly millennial flourish, Kiki Lounge is a beloved local haunt offering world class cocktails and warm Manx hospitality.

Other bars also awarded 1 Pin include Maybe Sammy (Sydney, Australia), The Dead Rabbit (New York, USA) and Kwānt Mayfair (London).
