About

Windways is a large 3 bedroomed detached family house, sleeping 6, which enjoys a quiet but central location within the beautiful village of Port Erin. The following amenities are all within a 5 minute walk from the house; the golden sandy beach, various pubs, restaurants, cafes, shops, supermarket, steam railway station, bus station, playground and various takeaways (Chinese, La Gusto Pizzas, Subway, and fish & chips). Everything on your doorstep but in a peaceful spot!

The property has a wide appeal. Young families love the spacious rooms and free use of the baby equipment, on request (cot, high chair and stair gate), teenagers love the free WI-FI whereas couples (and groups of friends) love the fact that some of the most scenic coastal walks on the island begin within a 10 minute walk from the front door!

Windways was built in the 1950s and has always remained under the same family ownership. In 2013 Windways was partially refurbished with a completely new kitchen, 2 brand new bathrooms, a new boiler and megaflow hot water system. As a result, the house receives endless compliments from guests saying how comfortable and stylish the accommodation is. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with Siemens appliances including dishwasher and washer/dryer. The chic ensuite bathroom has a shower, toilet and wash basin, and no bath. The large impressive family bathroom has a shower, toilet, separate bath and wash basin. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is a cosy traditional living room with comfortable modern sofas and a 36 inch HD TV (Freeview) and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs. There is also a traditional style dining room with a table and chairs for 6 guests as well as a downstairs toilet.

During the summer months of May to August inclusive, bookings are taken for full weeks only with a Saturday changeover. Outside this period the minimum stay is 3 nights. Prices include utilities, bed linen and towels. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets. However, if you wish to bring your assistance dog, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Access Statement: There are 12 steps leading to the front door. Once inside there is a hallway leading to various rooms and from the hallway you take the 9 steps up to a landing area, followed by a further 6 steps leading to the upstairs where all 3 bedrooms are located. The staircase is not steep and has a sturdy bannister to hold onto.
If you would like to book directly with us (without using the booking system) or would like more details, please call Fiona on +44 (0)7624 416130.
