Road Directions

From the boat by car:

1 turn left at the first two islands and cross over the river.  Turn right at the next island and straight across the next two.  This takes you out of Douglas

2 continue along this road until you reach a large island, take the first exit.  This is the Douglas to Castletown road

3 Continue for about 15 minutes until you reach an island in Ballasalla.  Take the first exit. Follow this road across two more Islands which pass the airport .  

4 Take the 3 rd exit (right) and the second (right) on the outskirts of Castletown.  Continue on this bypass straight on and along the coast.

5 After passing a pub on your right (shore) take the second turning on your right towards Port Erin

6 Go straight across the Island by the school bringing you into Port Erin. Turn left just before the church with the steeple onto Droghadfayle road and Reedsbeck is immediately after the railway crossing on the left

From the airport by car

Turn left at island on leaving the airport and follow instructions from number 4

train. From Douglas

Port Erin station is a few hundred yards away from the bungalow. Head off station and through gate towards park.  Head left along the footpath to Reedsbeck

buses stop at bus station.   Head towards garage when getting off bus and turn right at church with steeple.  Reedsbeck is just over the railway crossing

Public Transport Directions

A bus runs to Port Erin approximately every 20 mins.  From stop C at the bus station. 


Victorian trains run in summer months approximately every 2 hours from Douglas station
