Road Directions

How to get here from the Sea Terminal:

Proceed along the promenade, heading northward, following the tram lines along the coast road for about 2 miles (3km). As you cross over the tram lines you arrive at a tee junction. Turn right towards Laxey, you will again cross over the tram lines, and after about ¾ mile (1km) you will see a decorative Jubilee Clock to your right.  Shortly after the clock, you will see Baldrine Road on your left.  Turn into this and you will cross the tram lines. On you right you will see Packhorse lane (Upper) turn down this road and as you cross the tram lines turn left into our drive. Hunters Moon can be seen through the trees at the end of the drive.

How to get here from the Airport:

Turn right out of the airport following the Douglas road signs turn right at the Whitestone public house. Continue along the main road into Douglas. At the Quarterbridge roundabout jkeep in the left hand lane, following signs for Onchan and the north. Keep in the right hand lane at St. Ninians school traffic lights and proceed straight ahead for Onchan. Continue straight on through Onchan village, heading North.  Once past the Liverpool arms public house you will cross over the tram lines, and after about ¾ mile (1km) you will see a decorative Jubilee Clock to your right.  Shortly after the clock, you will see Baldrine Road on your left.  Turn into this and you will cross the tram lines. On you right you will see Packhorse lane (Upper) turn down this road and as you cross the tram lines turn left into our drive. Hunters Moon can be seen through the trees that line the drive.

Getting Around:

We are outside to T.T. course, so access to virtually anywhere even if the circuit roads are closed is always possible. Baldrine Road will lead you up to Creg Ny Baa or Hillberry. The main Douglas – Laxey Road south will take you to Signpost Corner, The Grandstand and all viewing points to Kirk Michael.  The same road north will take you to Hibernia, Ramsey and then on to Kirk Michael. There are some very beautiful Glens close by namely Molly Quirk’s, Groudle, Garwick, Dhoon and Ballaglass.

How to get here by Bus:

From Douglas get a number 3 bus and ask to be dropped off at Baldrine Methodist hall. Continue along down the hill in the same direction as the bus, and turn left into Baldrine Road. Once you turn into this you will cross the tram lines. Very shortly after on your right you will see Packhorse Lane (Upper) turn down this road and as you cross the tram lines turn left into our drive. Hunters Moon can be seen through the trees that line the drive. From the bus stop to house is about 3 minutes walk.

How to get here by Tram:

Ask to be dropped off at Baldrine. Walk very slightly uphill along Baldrine Road and very shortly after on your right you will see Packhorse lane (Upper) turn down this road and as you cross the tram lines turn left into our drive. Hunters Moon can be seen through the trees that line the drive. Tram stop to house about 2 minutes walk.
