4 Star cosy one bedroom self-catering holiday home just right for 2, set on the rural west coast of the Isle of Man, in peaceful Glen Maye.  This 19th century Manx cottage has been thoroughly modernised internally and is an ideal base for exploring the Island on foot, on public transport or by car.  Glen Maye’s National Glen is only yards away with its waterfall and wildlife.  You can walk through the Glen to the sea and join the Raad Ny Foillan coastal walk (The Way of the Gull) to take you into Peel our nearest town and all its attractions.

Road Directions

From the ferry follow the directions to Peel until you reach St John's.  Turn left opposite the Tynwald Hill and follow this road until you come to the signed turn off on the right to Patrick, Glen Maye and Dalby.  Follow this road to its end in Patrick, a the T junction and turn left towards Glen Maye.  On reaching the village proceed down the hill and just before you come to the carpark for the glen on the right hand side of the road you will see Glen Cottage on the right hand side 3 doors up from the turning.

From the airport turn left towards Castletown and right at the first roundabout.  At the next roundabout keep right and turn right at the traffic lights. At the crossroads go straight across and follow this road to St Johns and turn left at the traffic lights.   Turn left opposite the Tynwald Hill and follow this road until you come to the signed turn off on the right to Patrick, Glen Maye and Dalby.  Follow this road to its end in Patrick, at the T junction and turn left towards Glen Maye.  On reaching the village proceed down the hill and just before you come to the carpark for the glen on the right hand side of the road you will see Glen Cottage on the right hand side 3 doors up from the turning.
