Map & Directions

Road Directions

Located on Princes Terrace, Minorca Hill, opposite the Methodist chapel and just a few minutes' walk from the Harbour, Fisherman's Cottage is easily accessible by car or by public transport.

Travelling from Douglas, take the main A2 to Laxey and continue through the village passing the Laxey Wheel and crossing the railway lines.  Follow the road around to the right, and up the hill until you see a brown tourist sign for Old Laxey, and the beach.  Turn right here onto Minorca Hill, pass under the bridge and the cottage is located a little further down on the left in the middle of a row of three cottages (Princes Terrace).
