Port St Mary

Road Directions

Travelling by road from the Sea Terminal in Douglas, join the A5 South travelling to the outskirts of Port Erin.   Stay on the A5 for 15 miles which will take about 30 minutes. 

Just before you enter Port Erin you will come to a round-about where you turn left on the A29 to Port St Mary. In approimately 1 mile you will enter Port St Mary. As you are entering Port St Mary you will see a School on your right. 50 yards further you turn left on the Promenade. There is a Fish Shop and Cafe on the corner on your left where you turn left. On the opposite side of the road there is an Indian Restaurant. 

Clifton Court Apartment is about 100 yards along the Promenade on your left. It is the second property in the old Victorian Terrace and 'Clifton Court' signs are shown on the Gate Posts. We are No 1 which covers the ground and lower ground floors.

Public Transport Directions

Arriving by ferry you can catch a bus directly to Port St Mary. The bus number is 11 and the Bus Terminus is only a few minutes walk from the Sea Terminal. The bus stop in Port St Mary is near the junction which takes you on to the promenade. Check out the bus timetables on the Isle of Man website.

You can also take the steam train from Douglas to Port St Mary. Port St Mary train station is about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the apartment. Follow the road directions shown elsewhere on this site for the route from the Train Station to the apartment.

Arriving at the Airport you can either hire a car or catch the number 11 bus from immediately outside the Airport which takes you to Port St Mary. Check out the IOM website for timetables etc.
