Road Directions

Please note during TT fortnight the mountain road is one way from Ramsey to Douglas (Creg na Baa).  If using Sat nav it tries to send you over the mountain, then you have to turn off and go Via Laxey/Ramsey.  

 

From Douglas / Ferry Port

Suggested Route via A1 & A3 
27.7km - about 31 mins

1. Head north on A11/Bath Pl - 26m

2. At the roundabout, take the 5th exit and 
stay on A11/Bath Pl - 0.1km

3. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and 
stay on A11/Bath Pl - 0.1km

4. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A1/Lord St Continue to follow A1/ Peel Road

5. Go through 2 roundabouts. Direction Peel - 12.4km

5. Turn right at (Ballacraine) into A3 Direction Ramsey - 15.1km

6. Turn right at Ballaugh Glen - 0.3km 

 

From Isle of Man Airport

Suggested Route via A3
32.4km - about 32mins

1. Head southwest - 0.4 km

2. At roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A5/Douglas Rd - 1.6 km

3. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A7/Main Rd - 0.1 km

4. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A34/Mill Rd - 0.2 km

5. Turn right at A34 - 1.9 km

6. Turn left to stay on A34 - 1.0 km

7. Slight right at A3 - 9.2 km

8. Turn left at A1/Peel Rd - 12 m

9. Take the 1st right onto A3 - 91 m

10. Take 1st right to stay on A3 - 15.1 km

11. Turn right at Ballaugh Glen - 0.3 km
