About

Location, Location, Location!!!

49 Piccadilly Court is a recently refurbished 2 bedroom Turreted Penthouse apartment, brand new on the market in May 2018 with full availability, in the most perfect location for a holiday in the Isle of Man. It is located next to the beach and promenade gardens in Douglas, on the top floor of a 6 storey picturesque & imposing purpose built victorian property. Its corner location and bay window provide magnificent unrestricted views of the beach, gardens and Douglas bay area. It’s South East facing, meaning early risers will catch the sunrise over the sea and is bathed in sunshine for most of the day.

There is private parking to the rear of the property, with a vehicle washing facility and covered parking for motorcycles, to keep them dry and out of sight.

It is located next to the Queens hotel, which serves home cooked meals, has a wide selection of beers and an outside heated dining area. It’s popular with tourists and particularly so during the TT fortnight, with live music and TT footage played on large TV’s.

Douglas is the heart of the island and where the most shops, bars and restaurants are located, as well as being the location for the TT start/finish, grandstand and paddock area. There are shops adjacent to the apartment block, along with excellent French and Thai restaurants and a Casino & SPA and Cinema just 5 minutes walk along the prom.  A stroll or horse tram ride along the promenade will bring you to other facilities and during TT week, there is a funfair, beer tent and stage with live gigs, easily reachable along the prom.

Transport links are excellent and all the smaller resorts and airport are easily reachable from Douglas. The bus stop and horse tram stop are right outside the apartment and just a 2 minute walk down the promenade is the electric tram station, from where you can travel to Ramsey via Laxey, or even to the top of Snaefell, which at 2,034 feet is the highest mountain on the island. The main sea terminal is 20 mins walk or a horse tram ride along the promenade.

So having explored during the day, return to the apartment, park up in the private car park and go and enjoy the nightlife of Douglas, as you won’t need the car.
