The Isle of Man is a walking mecca with an ever-changing landscape of moors, hills, glens, forests and beaches. Explore the Island and walk in the footsteps of the Island’s Viking and Celtic ancestors across some of the most stunning countryside in the British Isles.
The walks start and finish all around the Island. There are also targeted routes for different sections of the coast and countryside and specific attractions. All walks start and finish using public transport – either buses or the Islands’ railways.
You can pick as many walks as you would like. They range in difficulty and length, with guidance of the length and pace of the walk provided in the festival brochure (available ahead of the event). Every walk is guided. Our guides are passionate about their home, the beautiful Isle of Man. Their enthusiasm and local knowledge makes the Walking Festival a holiday to remember.
Offering varying lengths and difficulty our walks are designed to give you a glimpse into the tranquillity and splendour of the Isle of Man, with shorter walks giving you even more opportunity to explore the Island's rich heritage at your leisure.
