About

Mark is our local international award winning photographer, having had his images published repeatedly since 2014 in the hardback publications of Travel Photographer of the Year, Outdoor Photographer of the Year 2016, 2017,2018 and a finalist positions in the International Garden Photographer of the Year 2015 and 2018 where he was invited to the official presentation held at Kew Gardens.  Since 2018 he has had finalist positions in the the Mono Awards with his image 'Ludes Bench' and the International Photography Awards with 'Pondicherry Icecream Man'.

Demonstrating his skills in many fields of photography from Landscape to Travel and Architecture to Food.  His most recent awards from 2019 onwards were in the International Monochrome Awards, where he picked up a 2nd spot in the Urban section and a Highly Commended place in the Wildlife section. 

Mark has been a bit of a 'world nomad', spending a few months exploring Patagonia, Alaska, South America, Nepal, India, Myanmar, Borneo and Indonesia.  His warm personality and experience have made is workshops very popular, so much so he now offers residential workshops from 1 to 4 days teaching, exploring and photographing our captivating not only the Isle of Man, but also the Scottish Highlands.  Mark is an engaging character, his teaching methods will make the complex seem suddenly obvious.... One thing is for sure there'll be no shortages of smiles and laughter.
