About

Dhoon Glen, known for its natural and rugged beauty, is a small, wooden glen 5 miles south of Ramsey.

The glen is not to be missed by keen photographers, with its splendid waterfalls and streams offering the perfect picturesque photos.

The waterfall present half way down the valley is referred to as the Inneen Vooar or Big Girl, and is one of the highest falling waterfalls on the Island, falling over 40 metres in 2 drops.

The terrain present can be difficult to walk, therefore caution must be taken when visiting the glen – rugged paths, steep inclines and wet paving are common features of the glen.
