Take a walk around Onchan Head where you can see everything from sensory gardens to bumper boats!
Start at the car park in Onchan Pleasure Park and make your way down past the boating lake where you can glide across the water in a motor boat or splash each other in the bumper boats nearby. Stop off to enjoy the Jubilee Sensory Garden before taking a walk through Port Jack Glen which provides beautiful views down the valley and out to sea.
Follow the headland around to the right where you can stop to appreciate the magnificent views and find a memorial statue of 11-times TT racer Steve Hislop which stands by The Lookout, proudly watching over Douglas Bay below.
Continue round then turn up Ridgeway Road past the modern St Anthony's Church where you can find the white Stations of the Cross statues that once stood in the enchanting Calvary Glen below and now stand in the gardens of the Church. You can also spot the mysterious Lourdes Grotto behind the Church, which was once used as a location for open air worship and contains a piece of stone from the Lourdes Grotto site in France.
