Follow the child-friendly trail map, to discover fascinating facts and enjoy a handful of interactive activities which will ensure that your family walk is one that won't be forgotten!

Sections of the footpath are steep and narrow in places. Take care in extra strong winds. Dogs are not permitted on sections of this route.

Leisurely - walks for reasonably fit people with at least a little country walking experience. The route will include un-surfaced rural paths and tracks. Walking boots and suitable clothing are recommended.

Public Transport Directions

By Car: Follow the main road into Castletown, and then follow the minor road along Queen Street. There is an off-road car park by the start of the walk. The car park is free-of-charge. There are no marked disabled car parking spaces.

By Bus: A number of bus services can be taken to Castletown town centre. The bus stop is located in Castletwon Square, a 15-20 minute walk from the start of the trail. Bus services include, 1, 1H, 2, 2A, 8, 8A, 11, 12, 12A, N1. Please visit www.bus.im for the latest bus timetable. 

By Rail: Take the steam train and alight at Castletown Train Station.
