Oystercatcher Cottage is a beautifully renovated and extended 2-bedroom Manx stone cottage which makes a lovely holiday or "staycation" retreat for two, or an ideal base for a family of four to explore the Isle of Man. A "Visit Isle of Man" 4* rated property!

The cottage offers:-
- A deceptively spacious and characterful lounge with log burner and dining area, along with wall-mounted Freesat flat-screen TV and DVD player.
- Well-equipped kitchen and utility room, with electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer. The essentials are there too - kettle, toaster, cooking and measuring implements, as well as crockery and cutlery.
- Downstairs cloakroom/toilet.
- 2 welcoming bedrooms, one with king-size bed and one with single bunk beds and both with built-in wardrobes and plenty of hanging space.
- "Jack and Jill" wet-room accessed from the bedroom and the landing.
- Fully enclosed, private courtyard garden, close to the Isle of Man steam railway.
- Free wi-fi.

Location
Oystercatcher Cottage
is a 5 minute drive from Douglas, but also offers the opportunity to walk to Port Soderick railway station, where steam trains will take you to Port Erin and Douglas, and to Marine Drive, part of the beautiful Raad ny Foillan coastal path.
A car is recommended for your stay. Free on-street parking is available directly outside the cottage. Castletown and the airport are a 10 minute drive to the south, with all Island attractions within easy reach by car.

The Isle of Man
The Island is a truly beautiful gem in the middle of the Irish Sea. Whether you like walking, cycling, hills, glens, beaches, stargazing, motorbikes, trains, history, heritage or tradition, there's something for everyone. Oystercatcher Cottage is perfectly placed to take advantage of the many attractions on offer. The Isle of Man offers a true "away from it all, back to nature" experience and we hope the Island - and Oystercatcher Cottage - will entice you back time after time!

Our tariff
£595/week or £90/night. Exceptions:-
TT 2021 (May 29th - June 11th) - £1495/week.
Summer (June 12th - August 20th) - £795/week or £120/night.
Classic TT 2021 (August 21st - September 3rd) - £1095/week.

We accommodate shorter stays with a minimum of 4 nights. Sorry, no pets, no smoking.

Wifi, TV, DVD player, all bedding, towels, heating and initial stocks of logs for the wood burner are included in the tariff. In addition, a welcome pack and kitchen essentials are included to make your holiday experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We also provide board games, and a selection of books and DVDs in case you just want to chill in the comfort of Oystercatcher Cottage.
