Maycroft

About

Maycroft provides a warm welcome to their elegant refurbished Edwardian house, whose rooms retain some period features but with modern amenities.

Maycroft is less than five minutes away from central Port Erin and several good eating places, shops, bus stops and the Victorian Steam Railway station as well as the beach, water sports, boats to the bird sanctuary on the Calf of Man and stunning cliff walks on both sides of the bay.

The bedrooms rooms are provided with flatscreen TV, radio, hairdryer, tea/coffee -making facilities and free WiFi. The two double rooms (one can be a twin and one a family room) have bedroom, dressing room and large modern en suite shower rooms which is why we call them “mini suites”! The single is not en suite but has its own private bathroom immediately adjacent (we provide slippers and dressing gown). The guest lounge is comfortably furnished and provided with DVD’s. Maycroft offer off-road parking and can supply garaging for motorbikes on request.

Breakfast is delicious, using Manx produce as much as possible, Maycroft aim to provide only fresh produce where possible. They can also cater for special diets on application.

Maycroft's aim is to provide a home from home for your visit to our lovely island where you can relax and all you need to think about is your choice for breakfast!

Accessiblity:

For those guests who experience some difficulty with mobility there is a stairlift to the first landing. From there it is two steps up to the single room and to the double (inside the double there are two steps up to the ensuite). From the same landing there are four steps up to the twin/double.  Unfortunately we cannot offer wheelchair access.
