About

A traditional cottage in the heart of Castletown, Isle of Man, a short stroll from the impressive medieval Castle Rushen, picturesque harbour, local bars, shops and restaurants.

Mariner’s Cottage is located in a fantastic position for exploring the historic town, nearby beaches, beauty spots and coastal paths - and with transport links just a stone’s throw away, it’s the perfect base from which to branch out and discover the rest of the island.

This charming self-catering cottage is ideal for your family holiday or for a couple’s romantic getaway, where you can relax, unwind and enjoy cosy nights by the log burner.

This homely cottage is set over two floors, with the open-plan ground floor offering a well-equipped kitchen, lounge/dining area and a snug. Upstairs there are two double-bedrooms with king size beds (one of which can also be set up as a twin room), and the bathroom which features a bath, powerful over-tub shower, wash basin and WC. Outside to the rear of the cottage there is a courtyard seating area with wooden decking and castle views.

Mariner’s Cottage is just a five minute walk away from the Billown road racing circuit which hosts the Southern 100 Races in July, as well as the Pre and Post TT Races. The airport is a 5 minute drive away, so Mariner's Cottage is easily accessed!

Mariner's Cottage is managed by local self catering holiday cottage company Island Escapes. Please visit their website to book Mariner's Cottage
