Hill House


Hill House is located a short walk from the centre of Port Erin in the South of the Island and offers three guest rooms; two twin/double rooms and a double only room. 

There are three rooms, two of which can be used as twin or double and one is a double only. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV/DVD, wardrobes, bedside table and lighting. All rooms share a modern bathroom with shower and bath facilities and there is a second guest toilet with hand wash basin on the ground floor. Dressing gowns and slippers are provided.

Hill house is a  relatively modern property and all the guest rooms have been newly decorated and all other parts have been recently refurbished. 

We are located within a 5 minute walk to the centre of Port Erin and the large, sandy Port Erin beach, shops, bars and transport links to the rest of the island including the Victorian steam railway There is also a Golf course within a few minutes walk. Road Directions

From Douglas: Follow the A5 South. After passing the Airport and through Castletown follow along the coast road. After the Shore Hotel, turn first right into Castletown Road, after going straight across the next roundabout into Station Road this will lead you into the centre of Port Erin, pass all the shops and follow the road sharp right into the upper promenade. Rowany Villas is the sixth road on the right hand side and Hill House is the first property on the left hand side.

From Airport: Follow the above directions after Castletown.

Walking from Port Erin (Bridson Street bus stop) Carry on to the end of Bridson Street and turn left into Bay View Road. At the end turn right into Upper Promenade (Bradda Hiar) Rowny Villas is second right alongside Port Erin Royal Hotel.

Public Transport Directions

The nearest bus stop is in the village centre with frequent services to the airport and ferry terminal and connections to the rest of the island. When travelling to us you should ask for Bridson Street, Port Erin. Here there is a shelter with seating and toilet facilities. Buses to Douglas and the airport run approximately every 20 minutes. Travelling time to the airport is approximately 25 minutes and to Douglas 45 - 50 mins. The last bus in the evening from Douglas is 11.30pm. 

Port Erin railway station is approximately 500 meters away, connecting with various stations in the south of the island and terminating in Douglas. During the summer trains run approximately every two hours.

Taxis are usually available at both the Ferry terminal and airport and there are a number of local taxis which we can book for you in advance if required.

Ronaldsway airport is 15 minutes by car and approx 25 minutes by bus. EasyJet and Flybe operate regular services to various UK airports.
