About

A warm welcome, along with a hot or cold beverage and home baked cakes awaits you at Gwens Bed and Breakfast. Situated on the famous TT Course just outside Ballaugh village where racing is held for four weeks each year, two weeks during May/June and a further two weeks August/September. Also for motor sport enthusiasts Jurby Airfield and road racing course is within a five minute drive. At other times outside of these four weeks it is a haven for all nature lovers, whether it is walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers, painters as it is a short distance from the heritage trail, The Curraghs where wildlife is in abundance and the coastal paths around the Island. The Curraghs Wildlife Park is only a mile down the road where adults or children can enjoy seeing wildlife in a more natural environment. A public house, where food is served and a shop are situated within Ballaugh village and a short drive or bus ride away is the town of Ramsey or Peel where a variety of eating establishments can be found. The rooms have views towards the sea and overlooking the beautiful countryside. A good breakfast with locally sourced ingredients available and a packed lunch service is also available on request. The bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities, wifi, freeview television and a relaxed seating area. Transport to and from the Airport or Boat available on request.
