Ffald y Brenin

About

We built Ffald Y Brenin in 2012 and designed it to make the most of its beautiful countryside location.
It is set within a large (3/4 acre) garden and is surrounded by farmland and mature trees.

Enjoy the view over the garden from the large floor to ceiling windows and patio doors.

Relax on the patio with afternoon tea on your arrival.

Slumber in the comfort of a super king size bed. The sprung mattress, incorporating a bamboo comfort layer, makes for a truly sumptuous night’s sleep when teamed with pure Egyptian cotton bed linen and a feather and down duvet. (anti-allergy bedding is available on request).

The en- suite shower room is designed to give you the best possible start to the day, with a high pressure deluge shower, luxury toiletries and large, thick, white towels warmed on a heated towel rail. Underfloor heating keeps your toes warm and a demisting mirror allows you to see to clean your teeth!

Facilities in your room include, a large wall mounted TV with free sat and dvd player. Wi-Fi, alarm clock with iPhone/iPod dock, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities with a range of teas, mineral water and a small fridge for your own use. Home baking is provided daily.

Satisfy your hunger with breakfast from our extensive menu, which includes fruit juices, a range of cereals and porridge, fruit salad, full cooked breakfast, smoked salmon, kippers, omelettes, and toast, croissants or chocolate chip brioche. All our bread is home baked, the yoghurt and most of the preserves are home made. We hold an Isle of Man tourist board breakfast award.

Local produce is used where possible and special dietary requirements can be catered for, with a little advance notice.

Breakfast is served to your room, at a time of your choice, between 8 and 8.45 am. A later time can be arranged at weekends and bank holidays. For your privacy it is placed on a warming tray in the lobby to your bedroom and can then be eaten either at the table and chairs in your room or, weather permitting, on your patio!

We are committed to making your stay at our bed and breakfast as enjoyable as possible whether you are here for business or pleasure.

The historic town of PEEL is approximately 3 miles to the North West, with its 2 sandy beaches, magnificent castle ruins, House of Manannan museum, and its many restaurants.

Peel also boasts a large marina, working kipper factories and award winning ice cream – try some of the 22 different flavours!

The village of Glen Maye is approximately 1.5 miles to the south and has a beautiful glen with a picturesque waterfall, leading down to a stony beach.

Please note that due to the number of steps down from the driveway, the Garden Room is unfortunately not suitable for guests with restricted mobility.
