About

Kione Turrys & Balley Beg self-catering holiday cottages are ideally situated right in the heart of Peel on the west coast of the Isle of Man. Peel is a traditional Manx fishing town, the home of the famous Manx ‘Kipper'. The ancient castle on St Patrick's Isle adjoins Peel Hill by a causeway and Fenella Beach.

Both cottages sleep up to 4 people.  Only Kione Turrys is dog friendly.  No dogs are allowed in Balley Beg.

 

KIONE TURRYS HOLIDAY COTTAGE - Sleeps 4 - plus up to two small / medium dogs.

Comfy lounge, dining area, new kitchen, fully kitted, large front bedroom with super king zip and link bed, can be made up as one large bed or twin (2 singles).  Back bedroom L-shaped adult sized bunk beds (Feet only under the top bunk).  Bathroom with shower over bath.  Towels & linens provided.  Small courtyard garden with outside warm tap.  Views to Peel Hill and the free car park.  Unlimited free wifi available all year round.

 

BALLEY BEG HOLIDAY COTTAGE - Sleeps  4 - NO DOGS.

Comfy lounge, dining area, kitchen, fully kitted, large front bedroom with super king zip and link bed, can be made up as one large bed or twin, (2 Singles).  Back bedroom has two adult single beds, children themed bedding available.  New bathroom with spacious L-Shaped bath shower.  Towels & linens provided.  Small coutryard garden with outside cold tap.  Secure storage area for bicycles etc.  No direct view of Peel hill, free car park and unlimited wifi available all year round.

 

What's included:  All crockery, cutlery, towels and cleaning materials are included.  Complimentary hamper with containing Manx produce and fresh flowers on arrival. There is a variety of complimentary books available if you wish to relax with a book during your stay, these include Manx history books. The canvas pictures, mirror, lamps and accessories complement both cottages.  TV & DVD players in both.  Travel Cot, High chair & baby gate available, please let me know in advance if your require these.

Are you a large group ? - If so then our two cottages connect via a back gate in the courtyard making it safe for children and convenient for all.

Dog's Welcome (Kione Turrys Only) up to 2 well behaved house trained dogs.  Facilities include tap with warm water outside to wash dogs if necessary.  Great location for dog walking.  Fenella Beach is dog friendly all year.

Road Directions

Directions from the ferry in Douglas come along the A1, from the airport at Ronaldsway come along the A3, both directions will bring you through St. John's.  As you come into Peel you will pass the QEII School on your right.  At the next crossroads turn left into Queen's Drive, at mini roundabout go right down the hill past the fire station.  At the stop sign opposite St Patrick's Chuch turn right and then first right again, signposted Town Centre, turn left into the car park.  The cottage is at the bottom of the car park on the right.  Parking is free.  If you get lost call Dee on mobile number 07624 433617.

Public Transport Directions

There is an excellent bus service from Peel servicing the whole island.  Buses run frequently.  The bus stop is 2 minutes walk away on Derby Road, opposite the Town Hall.  CLICK HERE for a map for Peel bus route.
