Beachcomber's Cottage

About

Beachcomber's Cottage is just a stone's throw from the promenade and beach in the beautiful coastal village of Port Erin, in the South West of the Island.
It's a perfect place for a family summer holiday - long days at the beach, ice creams, fish and chips and just a short stroll back to all the home comforts of the cottage. Beachcomber's has been beautifully finished in a relaxed coastal style and has comfortable lounge seating for 6-8 people, and dining space for the same number.  We have a cosy wood burning stove for those cooler evenings and a small but very well equipped and tastefully decorated kitchen.  There's a walled courtyard at the back with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining.
On the first floor we have a modern family bathroom with bath and shower.  There are two double bedrooms and one bunk room sleeping up to six, and each room is individually and beautifully decorated.  We supply quality bedding, linens and towels for all our guests and all the basics you need to get you started.
All of Port Erin's attractions are within easy walking distance of the cottage - pubs, restaurants, shops and of course the beautiful sandy beach, promenade and headland.  The Island's coastal path, the Raad Ny Foillan, runs past the end of the lane and you can walk from Port Erin to the Sound, Port St Mary, Peel or further afield.
The Steam Railway station is a two minute walk from the cottage and you can take the train North to Castletown or Douglas.  If you don't have your own car the public transport network is fantastic and makes it easy to travel all over the island.
