Gold award winning Ballakerkey Cottage is nestled within 40 acres of our farm land within the beautiful Glen Maye national glen and only a short walk from your door to the lovely secluded Glen Maye beach.  Ballakerkey Cottage could not be more ideally located.  The Glen itself boasts a breathtaking waterfall and atmospheric walks and our farmland leads onto the 'Way of the Gull', a spectacular coastal footpath that runs around the entire Island.

The histroric fishing town of Peel is only a 5 minute drive away and here you can explore the narrow cobbled streets, sample the lovely restaurnt serving freshly caught fish or discover the 11th century Viking castle.

Ballakerkey Cottage is a recently renovated Manx Cottage carefully designed to offer comfort and relaxation with all modern conveniences.  The cottage comprises one double bedroom and one single bedroom each with luxury en-suite shower rooms, fitted wardrobes and feature exposed A’frames. Downstairs the cottage comprises porch and entrance hall, leading off to the kitchen and lounge.  

The kitchen is fully fitted with oak units, granite work tops, belfast sink and all appliances, including ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, washer dryer, dining table and chairs.

The lounge features a large traditional Manx fireplace with wood burning stove, tiled floors with rugs comfy sofa, satellite T.V. DVD and free WiFi

The cottage is centrally heated with underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs.

Outside the cottage is surrounded by large lawned and gravelled gardens and parking for 2 cars, garden furniture and BBQ area.

All linen is included and a small welcome pack awaits your arrival including tea, coffee, milk, butter, bread, jam, biscuits and a bottle of wine.

Ballakerkey Cottage is a non smoking holiday property.
