Map & Directions

Road Directions

From either the Sea Terminal or the Airport, the roads to Peel are well signposted, and the drive will take about 30 minutes.

From the Sea Terminal: Coming out of the ferry-port, make sure you turn left immediately (most traffic will go straight, toward Douglas promenade).  Within 100 yards you’ll be at the roundabout with the cannons; drive straight on & follow the signs for the A1 road to Peel.

From the Airport:    Turn right onto the main road A5 to Ballasalla, then the A3 through Foxdale, then the A40 to St Johns.  Turn left at the traffic lights at Tynwald Hill onto the A1 to Peel.

Either way, on entering Peel  you will pass the High School on your right.  Take the next right (just under half a mile) onto Albany Road.  Then take the first left on to Derby Road.  Continue on to Atholl Place, Peel’s main intersection.  With the large sign for “Powell House” facing you (above the tearoom), take the extremely narrow right fork, Factory Lane, which is a one-way street.  About 200 yards down you will see the cream-coloured Mews Cottages, facing you.  The Mews Cottages private carpark is on your left; please park in the space marked “4”.
