2024 June Crown Green Bowling Festival

Type:Sporting Event

Isle of man Bowling Festival

About

Since the first tournament back in 1921, the Island has been a popular destination for thousands of Crown Green Bowlers from all over the British Isles. In the intervening period, the occasion has grown to two festivals each year, with a September event added in 1969.

Having gone from strength to strength, they are recognised as the best bowling festivals and carry the highest prize money of any festival on the crown green bowling calendar.

The competitions are uniquely structured in that even if a player loses every game, he or she can play bowls for four days straight!

There is a good range of competitions throughout the week for men and ladies, which include singles and doubles contests, plus when all else has failed and if time allows, a ‘Last Chance’ mixed challenge.
