Smeale Farm Tours

About

What's going on at Smeale Farm is rather special, and we want to share it with you with a guided tour. It's not just the lovely location with panoramic views. It's not just the family farm heritage and fascinating buildings spanning over 400 years.

It's a feeling. You sense it when you arrive in the traditional yard. You sense it in the visitor information point. You feel it as you run the grains of wheat through your fingers. You  smell it in the cereals shed and amongst the 450-strong sheep flock. You see it strolling through the wildlife conservation area. You taste it with your flapjack and cuppa or apple juice. This tour is for you. Because we want you to feel it too.

Adult-sized wellingtons to borrow. Be prepared to climb a stile or a gate! On wet days we concentrate on the farm yard (but Smeale is one of the driest places on the Island). We can tailor the tour to your needs if required. Just let us know so we can discuss how best to ensure you have a great time on Smeale Farm.

Experience it for yourself, we look forward to welcoming you.
