The Manx Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ManxSPCA) is an animal charity that rescues and cares for many domestic and wild animals across the Island in their dedicated centre in the heart of the Manx countryside.
The small Groudle River runs through the mature woodland of Groudle and Molly Quirk’s Glens. There is good, easily accessible angling here for wild brown trout.
This river flows down from Glen Rushen to the sea near the village of Glen Maye in the west of the island. There is also a long stretch of public fishing upstream of the village.
