Description

Frontignac is a self-catering holiday home for a family or group of friends looking for that seaside getaway. Located by the waters edge, watch the sea swimmers, kayakers and paddleboarders enjoy Port Erin's fantastic bay, a perfect spot for watersports. Enjoy panoramic views as the sun sets in the west, with distant views of the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland visible on a clear day.

The house itself offers four guest bedrooms, with a living area located on the first floor to maximise the views across Port Erin bay. The well equipped kitchen/dining room is located on the ground floor.

Port Erin offers the perfect base for a holiday to the Isle of Man. Enjoy a ride on the Steam Railway through to Douglas, the station is only 2 minutes walk from Frontignac. For those who enjoy walking there are many great walks to be had from the front door, including to Bradda Head and Fleshwick bay to the north and the Calf Sound right round to Port St Mary from heading south. A boat trip to, or around the Calf of Man is also a must do experience whilst staying here, with the boats leaving from the harbour a short walk away. For the more adventurous there are a number of watersports businesses operating close by. Try your hand at sailing, paddleboarding or kayaking to name just a few activities on offer.

A wonderland place that ticks all the boxes!!

This was our second visit to Frontignac in a month and as before it was excellent. Located 20m from the beach, it has stunning views of the sea, Port Erin and Milner’s Tower (which is a nice walk away). Shops, bars and restaurants in Port Erin are about 100m away - so everything is nearby. The house itself is great (we are a family of 4 adults), beds comfortable, the living area and balcony area are ideal for watching life and nature, the kitchen has everything you need and the showers were great - hot and decent pressure. Would come back again - one of the best places we’ve stayed at n the Island.

Excellent

Fantastic place to stay despite the horrible weather. Was great watching the sea. Would have loved to book it for next July but already full for our available dates so have booked Grainane instead.. Thank you for all your help. Pat

Great situation in scenic Port Erin. Frontignac another superb Island Escapes location. Sleeps 6 comfortably with room to spare for 2 more. Always well equipped, clean & well maintained. Got our eye on the up and coming renovation on the promenade for our next staycation Thanks all

Great holiday house in a great location

Great house, great location. One thing we felt would have been helpful , waste bins in bathrooms, and possibly bedrooms. Everything else up to the standard of Island Escape Properties that we have come to expect .
