Where Are We?

Mariner’s Cottage is located on the southern coast of the Isle of Man, in a fantastic position for exploring historic Castletown, nearby beaches, beauty spots and coastal paths – and with transport links just a stone’s throw away, it’s the perfect base from which to branch out and discover the rest of the island

The Local Area

Castletown is home to a number of pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes, from global cuisine to traditional fish and chips, and everything in between. The town is steeped in history and tradition, which you can explore and learn more about in the town’s museums and visitor attractions.

Mariner’s Cottage is also just a 10 minute walk away from the Billown road racing circuit which hosts the Southern 100 Races in July, as well as the Pre and Post Isle of Man TT Races.

The Space

This homely cottage is set over two floors, with the open-plan ground floor offering a well-equipped kitchen, lounge/dining area and a snug.

Upstairs there are two double-bedrooms with king size beds (one of which can also be set up as a twin room), and the bathroom with a bath, powerful over-tub shower, wash basin and WC.

Outside to the rear of the cottage there is a courtyard seating area with wooden decking and castle views.

Kitchen: Electric oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine/dryer.

Snug: Two arm chairs, sofa, television in cabinet & log burner.

Lounge/dining area: Sofa, arm chair, smart television, large dining table with benches & a sideboard.

Bedroom 1: King size bed, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, wardrobe. Castle views.

Bedroom 2: *2 x 2’6″beds (6 inches narrower than normal singles) which can zip and link together to make a king size bed. Clothes rail, lamps & bedside tables. Castle views.

Family Bathroom: Powerful over-tub shower, WC & wash hand basin.

Parking: Free long-stay parking nearby.

Changeover: Arrival time 3:00pm – departure time 10:00am.

Minimum Stay: A minimum of three nights is bookable online. If you would like a shorter stay, please contact us directly to check availability.

Pets: One well-behaved dog welcome, although please seek our permission in advance if you plan to bring your pet during your stay.
