Location

Bed & Breakfast at Ballawhite is located on the East coast of the Isle of Man in the small country village of Baldrine approximately 5 miles from the islands capital Douglas. Baldrine is not off the beaten track and not difficult to find if you leave Douglas and follow signs for Laxey. Ballawhite is on the right hand side of the road as you travel though Baldrine, and easier to find due to a framed sign at the top of the drive advertising my small bespoke business "Style Mistress Millinery". There is a bus stop just up the road and an electric Tram stop at the top of the hill.

For those wishing to be out of town but not in the middle of nowhere this location is ideal especially for those who enjoying walking, cycling and biking.

The Garden level guest accommodation is not visible from the front of the property and is backs onto woodland. And open plan breakfast area in the main house looks out into a canopy of trees.

Please note due to this the mobile phone signal at Ballawhite can be quiet poor, and unfortunately not something I can remedy. However this has not been an issue for previous/regular guests. In fact in this modern age when the pace can often feel relentless it’s a good excuse for some down time, and really enjoy your break away.

You are of course welcome to give family members the landline number at Ballawhite should they need to contact you in an emergency as extra reassurance.
