Ballaugh Beach (The Cronk)
This sand and shale beach is located on the exposed North West of the island.
Popular with windsurfers and kite-surfers but not ideal for beginners or the faint-hearted!
Ballagh beach was recently in the news as the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) were seen from here. Despite its southerly location there is very little man-made light around.
