About

Crossags Campsite welcomes all visitors. Host to National Youth Groups, approved campsite for Duke of Edinburgh Awards etc. Set in Ramsey's rolling hills, a short distance from the town, park, beach and golf course.

The Campsite is a Christian based organisation and has been operating over the past 18 years reaching out to communities and nations. Set in six acres of picturesque countryside and open all year round.

Families, individuals and small groups, all are welcome by arrangement. Bookings can be made at short notice if space is available. The camping field has room for more than 50 pitches with water points, showers and toilets There are hook-ups for motor home/caravans, and car parking adjacent to the field.

A Log Cabin contains a newly equipped kitchen with facilities to cater for over 200 people on site. The function room can dine up to 30 people and similar numbers can be accommodated for lectures or study groups. Alternatively the room can be used for games, pool and table tennis, equipment available on request.

The Cabin has its own showers and toilets. There are also additional toilets and showers on the bottom field. Family friendly including pets.

The campsite is located up Crossags Lane just off the TT course with three great viewing positions (1) public footpath to Hair Pin, (2) other side of foot bridge, (3)  Ramsey Parliament Square,  all within a few minutes walking distance. Please e-mail for bookings or call 07624 263800.

Road Directions

From Ramsey go onto the Lezayre road about 1/4 of a mile pass the first road on the left (Fair field Road) look for Grammer School on the left after pedestrian traffic lights,  slow right down, (There is a sign post saying Crossags Centre 75 yards but it can be easily missed) pass two houses on the left, after the school, and at the second house turn imediately left onto Crossags Lane (not marked) Follow the lane you will pass an all weather football pitch on your left and the east side of the school to your right. Carry on up the lane with the golf course on both sides and where the road splits take the left fork into the campsite where you will see the sign Welcome to Crossags Campsite, go over cattle grid bear right and follow the road to sign in at the log cabin. Late arrivals can pitch and sign in, in the morning. Through TT and MGP the management is on site most of the time. 

Public Transport Directions

There is a bus stop at the bottom of the lane which takes you to Peel (no, 5) on the A3 passing the Wild life Park. Under a five minute walk from the site you can get to Ramsey Bus station where you can get a choice of buses to different parts of the Island a no. 3 will take you to Douglas via Laxey and other parts of the Island. We have bus, tram & rail timetables on site.
