What We Do
The Isle of Man Welcome Centre provides information services to tourists, business / travel trade clients and the general public in response to personal enquiries at the centre or by phone /fax or electronic mail.
Counter Services include retail sales of books, maps, transport tickets, Villa Marina & Gaiety Theatre show tickets and tourist gifts. Provision of information about events and activities. Finding accommodation, and advising about facilities, locations and travel. Additional Services include proof reading of tourist literature produced in-house and by other outside organisations. The collection, editing and publication of information sheets. Maintenance of accommodation availability in hotel and other accommodation database. Provision of specialist facts to external organisations such as Visit Britain, and Tourist Information Centres off Island.
The new Isle of Man Welcome Centre which officially opened in May 2007, reflects the Seven Key Market concept throughout. For visitors who have a particular interest, it is now even easier for them to plan their holiday experience.
