Mooragh Park

Enjoy a day out in the north of the Island at one of the best outdoor leisure facilities the Isle of Man has to offer.

Overview

Mooragh Park in Ramsey is a popular attraction with visitors and residents alike – especially during the summer months – despite starting life as a tidal swamp.

The park boasts excellent leisure facilities which visitors of all ages will appreciate including a 12 acre boating lake which hosts a wide range of watersport activities throughout the year.

Try your hand at canoeing, kayaking or sailing – you can hire the boats and go it alone or sign up for a session led by an experienced instructor from The Venture Centre.

If you prefer to keep your feet on dry land you’ll find tennis courts, a bowling green, BMX track and a crazy golf course as well as a children’s playground and special water play area.

Mooragh Park also has excellent picnic facilities as well as a cafe and restaurant. Ramsey town centre is only a short walk away and is well worth a visit if you’re looking to stretch your legs.
