About the Cottage
Maple Leaf Gardens is a cosy 2-bedroomed Cottage perfectly situated in the centre of Douglas. Local shops, bars, restaurants and the business district are within walking distance.

Nearby on Street parking is available, a parking disk is required (provided free at the Cottage).
The disk is to be displayed during the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday,
parking is limited to 2 hours at a time.
Should you wish to leave the car and explore on foot, please contact us and we can arrange
for a free temporary parking permit to be issued.

The main Shopping Street is within a short 10 minute stroll. Closer to home a local corner shop, butcher, fruit & veg store, chip shop, Chinese takeaway, pub and cafe are all less than a 5 minute walk away.
Facilities
With a fully equipped kitchen, hairdryer, iron & board, small selection of toiletries and even a pic-nic bag for your use, we hope your stay is a comfortable one. If you do forget something, please just let us know and we will endeavor to find it for you.

Very clean and comfortable beds. Good size space for 3-4persons. Excellent location. Snacks and breakfast stuffs in the fridge are very generous thoughts. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maple Leaf Gardens. John & Adele go above and beyond to make you feel at home. We really appreciated the food essentials they left for us. They even gave us a bottle of champagne as it was our wedding anniversary.
The location is excellent, within walking distance to all in Douglas.
Great comunication with Adele before we arrived and she provided perfect direction to the house.
Any Canadian visitors who love The Leafs, this is the place to stay.
We will definitely be back to stay.

Ideal location for what we needed. Great communication with Adele before and during our stay. Loved the extra toiletries as we’d forgotten a few and all breakfast essentials in the fridge plus bread and a full fruit bowl meaning I didn’t need to go shopping straight away. And for a small kitchen it had everything we needed to make family meals daily including lots of condiments/herbs/spices etc.
There was secure bike store at the rear of the property and although the location isn’t picturesque it’s quiet and perfect if you’re there for an event in Douglas like we were with only a 10 minute walk down to the town/promenade and only a couple of minutes to corner shop/ decent coffee shop/takeaways.
Beds were comfy and the linen/towels crisp white which is always a bonus and the shower had a constant hot feed and felt luxurious.
Adele was super accommodating and it was reassuring to know she was only a phone call away if anything happened.
