Villa Marina Venue Logo

The Villa Marina, situated in the centre of Douglas on the promenade and originally opened in the 1913, has undergone a £15 million refurbishment and now mixes Edwardian elegance with state of the art technology. The building is a mixture of old and new with the Royal Hall as the centrepiece. Octagonal in shape the Royal Hall can seat up to 1500 people, and is equipped to the highest standard including a sophisticated sound and light system. Its flexibility means it can host large events, including concerts, conferences and functions requiring catering. You can rest assured that, under the ownership of the Isle of Man Government’s Department of Tourism & Leisure, the Villa Marina offers you the ideal venue to hold your conference. There are a two function suites, the Promenade Suite and the Colonnade Suite, with wooden sprung floors, which can be used for smaller conferences or break out rooms each with their own bar, kitchen and washroom facilities, a 154 seat cinema which can double as a lecture theatre with the latest AV system co-ordinating presentations, light and sound from the stage podium. The Promenade Suite can be broken down in to three smaller suites—the Loch, Harris and Queens.

The Complex also includes landscaped gardens and lawns where marquees can be erected.
