The Sound Centre has been built by Manx National Heritage to provide catering, interpretation and other facilities for visitors to the Sound. Whether you have come by foot, bus, car or boat, you will find a welcome here and a chance to enjoy the spectacular panoramic views. Sit for a while as you eat and drink, and learn to recognise the birds that pass by, watch the currents racing through the Sound or simply take in one of the best views in the British Isles. In the Centre you will find displays which tell the story of the Sound and the Calf of Man. Once outside, take some time to look at the building, carefully designed to fit into this precious place
