Douglas to Port Soderick
![]() | This five mile costal walk can be enjoyed utilising the steam railway or bus service. Arriving at Port Soderick station descend to the road and join the Raad ny Foillan. The first section of which takes you through Port Soderick Glen down onto the beach. From here the path climbs up onto the cliff top heading in a north easterly direction towards Douglas. The walk is mainly over a disused marine drive, the last two miles are on a public road, though only occasionally used. This pleasant, easy walk offers some evidence of a former tram line. Names such as Little Ness, Stack Indigo and Fiddler's Green are given to various rock formations. |
